engine surging while stopping

title pretty much says it all. i have an 05 when i come to stop lights/signs the engine will rise and drop rpms 3-4 times its really annoying do they all do this? almost like the engine surges or something

I just bought an 05 with the 5.3L two weeks ago and I think it does surge a bit after I stop but I just assumed it was the a/c compressor or something. Mine is hardly noticable and doesnt even show up on the tach. I never really thought about it till you said something, I will have to keep my eye on it.
