Negative experience with Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors from ebay?

Yes I know they're not authentic Brembo Crossdrilled/Slotted rotors. They're regular brembo rotors that have been drilled and slotted. My question is to those of you who have actually purchased them, what have your experiences been like?

Thanks

I thought that all Brembo rotors were cross drilled/slotted not by Brembo themselves, but by whoever sells them?

Re: Negative experience with Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors from ebay?

I purchased mine from www.turboimport.com. They were $239 for all 4 corners. I mated these with a set of Akibono ceramic pads.

I love them, they stop on a dime, no fade, shudder, or shaking. This will be a mod I do to every car I buy.

What problems have you had? Did you install them so they rotate in the correct direction? Did you bed the breaks and break in the pads and rotors correctly? Did you replace the pads when you did the rotors?

Havent had any problems at all Spyderturbo, I havent installed mine's yet.

Do you have the exact same ones I got Brembo crossed drilled/slotted, I only see cross dimpled/slotted at www.turboimport.com?

How is the pattern of the rotor suppose to go?

Re: Negative experience with Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors from ebay?

I went with the slotted/dimpled rotors because of the cracking issues with the crossdrilled.

I did a write up of the installation here:

Thanks,

I had already printed it out. lol.

I have the same concern with the cracking issue that's why I posted this thread to get some feedback of anyone who's actually running on cross drilled slotted rotors. I already purchased them and unfortunately there's no exchange/return policy.

Re: Negative experience with Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors from ebay?

I bought the slotted and cross-drilled rotors off of e-bay probably 2 years ago and have had no problems with them. I check them (at least I did when the car was running) every once in a while but have seen no cracks or warpage. I think the cracking problem is more common with just cross drilled where you have a considerably larger number of holes spaced closer together. I'll post a pic of my rotors if I remember (they are off the car right now)
