Lightbulb crankshaft replacement???

anyone ever heard of replacing a short nose .08" crankshaft with a big nose 1.6"... ??? i know its possible... but does anyone know exactly what needs to be replaced ? i have heard that the waterpump also needs to be replaced for compadability...

also any places that have any cheap crankshaft kits??? i found one at kragen for $210 without the pulley though...

yes i do have one of the 1% of the 90-91 miatas that have broken crankshafts... i took the pulley off and pieces just fell to the floor...suxs ....i could really appreciate any help or info in general on replacing timing belts and stuff...thanks again..

or a motor swap ? it might be easier...any cheap motors that fit??? acura integra... or ford escort?? or something cheap??? anything?
