I am not sure what year your car is but on my 94 Escort the flasher is to the right of the fuse box rigth beneath the steering wheel.

It looks like all relays under the dash have 5 pins, the one I purchased has 3 pins. Still can't find the location ? I took the steering column cover off, but is not there... |

I'll try to explain where it is. Mine works so all I had to do was listen and look to find it. If you look up near the top of the clutch pedal you will see some relays. You've probably already found these. The relay that is towards the front is black. If you look to the left beside this black one there should be a green relay. That's the one in my car. The black one hides it. It has three wires so that must be the one your looking for.

Re: escort wagon flasher relay location ???

Thank you for your help. I just spend 2 hours in there, looks like all 5 relays are the same type, they have different colors, but have same connections inside, they all have 5 pins, nothing with 3 pins. I borrowed the whole thing from junk yard, replaced all of them, and no luck. It must be the switch itself ? Do you know how I can test the switch before I buy new one ? Thanks for your time |
