2000 Grand Caravan Battery?

I'm having a problem keeping the battery charged. If it sets over 24 hours it won't crank. Is something staying on and draining my battery or do I have an alternator problem?

I had the same problem with my 2000 GC.
The OEM battery is a five year battery and guess what?
The five year self destruct has been activated.
Get a new battery.

I've tried that and it didn't work. Something else is causing it and I don't know where to start.

You should purchase a battery and alternator test tool, most store carry inexpensive and easy to use ones for $15 or $20. They come in handy.
If the battery goes dead in 24 hours it has to be a big drain or it's not getting a full charge.
You can start by pulling different fuses to isolate the drain.
Also check the tension on the alt belt
P S The OEM battery on my 98 van lasted 9 months

The current draw needs to measured with an amp meter. Don't have any cardoors open or other interior lights on, they draw a lot of current. Then start pulling fuses till the drain goes away and go from there. By the way the new battery should be charged first before using, not just throw it in and let the alternator get it done.
