Question daytime run lights

has anyone had any luck turning off the daytime run lights?
I saw something about unplugging the module but does this
effect anything else?

1996 Z71 104,900 miles.

Re: daytime run lights

unplug the fuse, it will kill them, but it will also kill your fog lights.

Re: daytime run lights

If the emergency brake pedal is not fully returned, the DRL may not work, as there is a small contact switch at the top of emergency brake pedal that controls DRL.
