Still Hot.
Ok, for the first 5 minutes or so my temp. gauge goes up to the red zone ( 260*) and the "check gauges" lights come on. But thats for the first 5 minutes, then it goes back down to normal a few minutes thereafter. Anyone else having this problem? or is this a problem at all?

Re: Still Hot.
Check to see if the radiator is full. You might have a leak in a hose or a hole in your radiator. I had a 96 chevy silverodo that did the same thing and that is what was wrong.

Re: Still Hot.
ok, I have a question.. The thermostat is a bit hard to get to... Am I going to have to remove anything else to get to it?
