Cold Air Intake

Im stupid when it comes to these kind of things. But what kinds of cold air intakes would you recommend for performance on a Lancer ES 2002?...and what are the best brands?

my boyfriend has an AEM cold air intake..he loves it. Just be careful of going through large puddles..big problems.

A pipe is a pipe. That goes for intake and exhaust. And filter qualities also vary marginally once you get out of the generic-foam range, though K&N is probably the best tried and tested one out there. Get a cheapo E-Bay pipe and thrown on a K&N. You may nee a bypass valve too if your intake is low nough to scoop up water.
