galant tail lights

I have a mitsubishi galant 1995, no matter what you do the tail lights will not go off. Even with the car off the lights turned in the off position they will not go off. the only way to get them off is to pull the fuse under the dashboard. I checked the fuse an it is ok. I am baffled, if someone has an answer please let me know.

I'm not sure what you mean by bad earth? Do you means a bad ground. Where would you check for this problem?

earth?? ground in the US. If you have a bad ground, the lights WON'T work. You have power coming from a bad switch. Are you sure that it's not your brake lights that are staying on? That would be the result of a bad brake light switch.

Bad 'earth' won't cause your lights to stay on.
