Pathfinder Muffler Help...
Ok, my brother's 2001 Pathfinder SE has a bit of rust on his exhaust system... And as luck has it, his Muffler broke off the the flange. So, we took it down to Midas that day for them to look at... No go. They said it's too rusted for them to weld, if they did weld it, they couldn't be sure if it would hold or not.
I started looking on Ebaymotors to find one... Bingo. My question is... Is the SE Muffler different? Does it appear as if this one will fit, I can't tell from the pictures. I printed out the picture, climbed under the Pathfinder with it, and tried to compare... It looks like it will fit. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance, -Wes

Re: Pathfinder Muffler Help...
similar thing happened to me. ended up having to replace the whole exhaust including cat converter and evetrything. was about $1000.
thath might be for the 3.3L those had the side pointed tailpipe. i could be wrong. as far as room for the shape it will fit. The size of the tubes may not though. Find out if it is for the 3.5L engine |
