Speedo Sensor Gear Problem!!!

Ok well i am severly fucked I was checking my speedo sensor and the gear fell into the tranny and I cannot get it out. I fear I may have to pull the transaxle off to get it out but would rather hear some other options. Tonight I am going to pull my axle and try and go through there maybe it is in the differential of the transaxle. ANY THOUGHTS I NEED MY CAR RUNNING. The gear is plastic is there anything else connected to the gear in the transaxle that it metal so maybe I could us a magnet (i tried to no avail so im thinking no). Kyle

Re: Speedo Sensor Gear Problem!!!

delete this thread ... for future information i just pulled a plug in the side of the transaxle and blew air from my compressor up and it shot the gear back to where i could get to it.

Re: Speedo Sensor Gear Problem!!!

Nice fix! But why delete the thread? The next person to make the same mistake can now search and find this potential fix Can't be used for "future information" if it's gone.
