What is the best high mileage oil---castrol GTX or Vavoline?--ASUS

On a high mileage engine (+150k) the best thing to do is change the oil more frequently (like every 2k instead of every 3k).

If you're not having leaks or oil burning issues due to engine "age", then I wouldn't be concerned with high mileage oil.

I just started using Valvoline Max-Life. It's been in a month, so I can't really say how it is. So far though, it is still clean looking and I haven't burned a drop.
As far as what is the better of the two, I think the experts feel they are both good. Marc |
