Replacing Key Fobs

Hi,
One of the keyfobs that came with my 2002 Olds Silhouette broke where it hooks onto the key ring. I have searched the internet and have not been able to find any replacement cases. Does anyone know if you can get replacements parts anyplace. It is a Delphi 4 button (lock, unlock, side door and panic) remote. I looked on e-bay to see if there were any that I could buy and simply switch the cases, but the style is not the same.

The other question is whether or not a 4 button remote could be programmed to work with this vehicle. Does anyone have any feed back on that?

Thanks for any help!

Re: Replacing Key Fobs

I just checked Ebay and found Item No. 7985178250 that looks just what you are looking for. The Ebay item has around 4 hrs left to bid.

I also have a 2002 Silhouette and have purchased an extra remote (4) button like you want for around $5.00 plus shipping. If you can watch Ebay for a while you should be able to get a remote and not spend much money.

Good Luck!

Re: Replacing Key Fobs

Have you checked with your local dealership? One of mine has a variety of fobs in different colors for like $10 or so.
