Wheel GAP
I just installed my Tenzo R 17' AV-7 on's today, on my 92 civic si Hb, with stock suspension, and the wheel gap (measured) is about 1'75". To get rid of the wheel gap, BUT don't want my tires to rub, what kind of springs (DROP WISE) should I be looking for ? Or any suggestions of springs...NO coilover sleeves..and can't afford coilovers...

image one image two theres some more images of course if you want to see more... here when i first put my rims on, i rubbed on u-turns and my driveway. (the angle and whatnot pushed my tire up a bit and it hit the plastic shit) i cut and bent the black splashguard under the fender lip in the front where it was rubbing. took out the screw/clip thing and bent the metal lip as well. lately ... no rub at all

with my stock 14" rims and stock bridgestone tires YES !!
they were //_____\\ (not that extreme) and the tire wear was EXTREME on the insides. once i upped to the 205/40-17's i notice the self camber test and eye test and tire wear all prove that there is very little neg camber. imo, i don't need a camber kit. i like the ride, and a little neg camber is good when i want to take turns like a mofo. but a big difference over stock rims. a lot less neg camber. very noticably less. so you should be fine too. but i'm sure you'd want some other opinions.

It is that bumpy ? Did u install them right away with aftermarket shocks ? I'm thinking to install them on stock shocks for now ?!!??!!?? |

i dont think stock shocks can handle them. the ride is wonderful on the illuminas. not too bumpy, not to loose. to me, its perfect. and its not wild like some springs and causes the car to really bounce.
