Does anybody know what this car may be worth ?

I never had a chance to look at this car. I have my doubts. W/O looking at it, what do the experts think it may be worth ?

If you're talkin about the vert, $850 isn't a bad price at all. especially if the engine is good, and the frame is. I'd jump on it fix it, and you can sell it for 3x what you paid for it.

Yes, I am talking about the vert. I know it needs a rear window replacement, has a few dents in the body, and does not run, due to the fuel problem. Like I said before, when it did run, it sounded good. Not sure of the mileage, shows 96K, but that could be 196K. To be honest, I am a little scared, because of the lack of information I am getting from the seller, and the little experience I have with cars. I have three reasons motivating me to purchase, 1) the price of fuel 2) the intrigue of a vert. 3) willingness to restore. I appreciate any wisdom you can pass on. Thanks !!

Well, be assured, whatever is wrong with it, will be cheap to fix. Maybe offer $700 since it's "complicated". Only thing to be worried about is the chassis. Make sure there's no frame rust. If there's none, the body alone is work $700.
