Special Parking

We've all seen it. Drivers who think they have special parking privileges. They will park right by the stores front door and just sit there even when there's a "NO PARKING FIRE LANE" sign right beside them. If your dropping someone off ok. Let them out and move out of every ones way. The worst offenders will even get out of their vehicle and leave it there! Why? Because they're special!

Who cares dude. I know I really don't care. The only reason it affects me is because I get jealous. I wish I could park there and get away with it. But I'm too afraid. Get over it.

Re: Special Parking

Grocery stores, worst fuckin place for that shit. When I was a bagger if someone was in the car I would tell them to move it or I was going to call a towing company, if no one is in it I got on the intercom and told them their car was being towed. I once had someone bitch at me for telling them their car was going to be towed, she left it and went back inside...she also got a stack of shopping carts laid on their sides neatly surrounding her new lexus. After yelling for about 10 minutes and having no one pay attention to her she finally moved them herself. She came back to the store but never parked there again.

That's pretty good, I would've loved to see it. Way better than damaging someone's car. Why is it usually the fanciest cars do this? Oh yeah, they're special.

I'm special, so I park in the "Pregnant Mothers" parking spots. Pregnant women are suppose to get excercise, the farther they have to walk the better for them and the baby.

Re: Special Parking

No big deal?!? I once saw an entire family taken out by a firing squad just because someone had to park in front of a store. Women, children, pets, it was horrible. So dont tell me its not a big deal!

Re: Special Parking

the fire truck shouldn't have ran over a family no matter what the fuck was going on.

Sure its stupid to park your car there and leave it, but..ehh.. so what. I've done it on occasion when I just needed to run in and do something real quick and just leave. It doesn't always matter. Why waste your own time worrying about it?

I guess if you work somewhere where it happens a lot, then use it as an excuse to have some fun like you did. That's just cool. But at least you aren't whining about it.

Re: Special Parking

Well I personally dont care much about it but it is a pain in the ass for someone who might be working there. Like pushing a load of shopping carts in and having to swing them around a car parked right in front of the door is a pain in the ass. Its all because someone didnt feel like walking 10 extra feet to park in a parking spot. Plus it is illegal in a lot of cases. We had such a problem with it at my old store that a cop (we did not ask her to do this) actually spent about 3 days straight just sitting in the parking lot and would write tickets for cars parked there. Some people got multiple tickets. Aparently those people are quick learners. Its like running red lights, can you do it? Sure. Should you do it? No.

Re: Special Parking

Its enough satisfaction for me that their cars will get crushed by a magnificent red truck if there ever is a fire.

I don't see that happening alot, but I do see alot of these jerks parking in a handicap spot. Thats really sucky. But hten again, the cops do it too and don't give tickets to the jerks that park there.
