A/C Controller Problem

99' Grand Am
I had a problem with my car not blowing air at all. So I had the blower checked out then I replaced the heater and A/C controller the knobs you turn to turn the A/C and Heater on and off. So now I have air but it only blows on the highest setting.

What could be the problem?

K, first, does the blower run right at all the speeds? Does the blower run at selected speed on heat through the fan range-speeds?

WTH, did you not read the post? The blower only works on high. I'd say you need a new blower resistor. If you have an ohmmeter you can test it but if you don't it's very probable that it's bad.

Re: A/C Controller Problem

Something I ran across with my 98 Montana with the same problem (only blowing on HIGH speed). I found that the wire harness at the blower motor worked loose, I unplugged it completely and made sure there was no debris in either side and plugged it back in and all worked fine. It's worth a shot. Your's may not be the same but I thought I would offer it up any way.

Good luck.
