A/C Controller Problem
99' Grand Am
I had a problem with my car not blowing air at all. So I had the blower checked out then I replaced the heater and A/C controller the knobs you turn to turn the A/C and Heater on and off. So now I have air but it only blows on the highest setting. What could be the problem?

Re: A/C Controller Problem
K, first, does the blower run right at all the speeds? Does the blower run at selected speed on heat through the fan range-speeds?

Re: A/C Controller Problem
Something I ran across with my 98 Montana with the same problem (only blowing on HIGH speed). I found that the wire harness at the blower motor worked loose, I unplugged it completely and made sure there was no debris in either side and plugged it back in and all worked fine. It's worth a shot. Your's may not be the same but I thought I would offer it up any way.
Good luck. |
