5.7 engine shut down

95 silverado 5.7 engine shuts down. no driveabilty problems when it runs no miss stumble at all just shuts down. first it started up in about thirty minutes. drove home removed ignition mod tested week replaced. drove it two months had same problem would not restart. changed fuel pump. pump ran would not start. ck elect to injectors (tb) none there. cotinued to ck things it started. i know i have not fixed the prob. any ideas would be appreciated

I used to own an 88 full size jimmy with the 5.7 in it and that thing loved to eat ignition modules, about 2-3 a year.
