Re: how do i adjust the idle?

yes, there's a screw at the throttle body. i would assume clockwise decreases, counter-clockwise increases idle (righty tighty, lefty loosey)...but not positive. i'm sure someone else will chime in.

Re: how do i adjust the idle?

while the topic is fresh...

what is a good idle speed? Mine used to idle between 900 and 1k rpm, after i installed an open air filter and replaced the stock intake pipe it has dropped down between 800 and 900 rpm. Does that sound like a normal thing to happen when adding an open air filter on an N/A?

The change in idle speed hasn't really affected much, but it does dip a little lower then it used to, esp now in the summer when i come to a stop with the AC on.

Is this screw on the top of the TB or under it? I can't seem to see one below it... unless I'm missing the obvious.

Re: how do i adjust the idle?

it's on the top, to the left of it. it will be recessed inside the throttle body

Re: how do i adjust the idle?

i was wondering because whenever i drive my car for like 10 mins or so i notice when i stop somewhere my car idles like at 750 and my oil light starts to flicker. faintly at first, but then it gets more noticeable. also when i get on it a few times i notice itll flicker and sometimes stay on when i come to a stop. is it because of my bov? its an open to atmosphere bov. would increasing my idle solve this?

open blow off valve has nothing to do with oil. Check your oil level and see where it stands. If you notice that your oil level is going down slowly, then its flickering because you have an oil leak somewhere. If your oil level is staying the same, then it could be your oil pressure sensor is faulty or some other electrical problem.
