How to install an intake in an MK1
I took off stock airfilter and its holder and when I checked the mass air sensor is squared instead of the normal circular ones most cars have. I uninstalled the whole sensor and tried to turn it on with the Conefilter on the manifold and the car refused to turn on until I installed the sensor back on. Someone told me I had to buy a full intake kit to install it but I want to check if anyone knows a way to install a cone filter b4 I have to go and purchase a whole kit. Thnx for any info ahead of time.

Re: How to install an intake in an MK1
weld a piece of tubing (to connect the filter) to a plate that lines up with the afm. bolt on.

Spectre makes a Toyota Mass Air Meter Adapter for that sqare port. Look online or google it.
