fuel pump relay

Ok I have a 1994 Mustang GT I'm attempting to get back on the road for a friend. The fuel pump wasent coming on so I replaced with a new pump and it still did not prime. I checked the fuses and inertia switch. Well both were fine and it did prime (although it dident start, but one thing at a time.) when I tuned the key off a pressure hissing sound came from the tank and fuel leaked. so I went to napa with the braided fuel hose assembly (hoping for a new assembly or at least the springs/Orings etc) No hope for a new assembly and only a vague reference to the parts that made up the "guts" any way The return leak is still their but worse yet the fuel pump only engages when it decides to . Im looking for a location of the relay and am going to continue looking for a new hose assembly(even went to the dealership, who told me the part is obsolete.) Im thinking of a 5/16 compression fitting/union and high pressure hose and tube sort of fix, but would rather fix it proper than to jerry-rig a repair. can any one tell me:
1. where is the fuel pump relay?
2. where can I find the hos assembly(between fuel filter and tank)?
3. is their a possibility I'm overlooking another coulprit aside from the relay?
Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

Fuel pump relay is under the drivers seat. Go figure.

Re: fuel pump relay

Well problem solved took forever, The answer was 3. An overlooked problem. It was the Passive alarm system that needed reset at the base of the steering column. Hope this helps some one if you have such an intermittant problem.

Re: fuel pump relay

Also never did find the hose assembly. Ended up using fuel injection hose with doubled hose clamps.
