where to find head bolts?
I have a 95 metro that I need head bolts for, can anyone point me in the right direction?
I've all ready tried partsdinosaur.com and many other online stores with no luck. It seems no one carries this part for this year car. Any help would be appriciated. Ben |

You're outta luck on aftermarket parts on that one. The 1.3's now have a revised headbolt. The old design was prone to breaking, and prone to the head of the bolt stripping. Unfortunately, a revised headbolt means dealer only. And they're $8 each. I spent the extra $30 and got an entire ARP stud kit
studs are better, and re-usable.

Well the aftermarket ones for 1.0 are no better either, I got 2 sets witch were breaking long before reaching the 54 pounds torque specifications, they were breaking the heads around 42 pounds using 2 kinds of torque wrenches.
