Re: Sound Clips

Um, there maybe one on 3sxperformance.com or possibly one floating around 3si. I don't think anyone here actually has the ATR catback on thiers, also are you thinking about the dual exit or single shot catback, because ATR has 2 different CBs.

Another option may be to check 3si for local gatherings near you...that is how I heard the difference between ATR and borlas...off of other local vr4s.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Just an FYI, ATR flows the best, but IMO borla sounds the best

shoot, i think custom exhaust is the way to go. I went and got a 3 inch catback that splits into two 2.5 inch pipes all the way back, and then dual glasspacks as my muffler. Total cost for everything including the tips was $250, and i've had soo many compliments on the exhaust, and after adding a stillen downpipe, it brought it out even more. Its not loud when your normally driving, but when you get WOT, it'll get some attention, but its not obnoxious either, or not nearly as loud as a v8 with no cats.
