Change Oil light in 00 GT

how did I reset this bastard? I had the oil changed a few weeks ago and this light on my dash keeps coming on. I've tried pumping the gas 5 times prior to starting the engine with key turned to on position, but that doesn't work. it's annoying, please help.
thanks in advance

i thought it was press the gas 3 times within 5 seconds, and that method worked on my 99 GT. other than that, i have no idea how to.

Change the MODE till it says OIL and just hold the reset for about 3 seconds and it should reset to 100.

You push & release the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 5 seconds then the CHANGE OIL light should flash indicating its resetting.

If you have a GP with a Digital Information Center (DIC) the procedure is different.

There are literally dozens of posts in this forum on that subject. Do you have the optional trip computer (w/ MPG etc.) or the one that just shows bulbs and open doors and Trac on/off? Use the search function on "oil light" or something similar. It depends on which system you have. Both are covered.

You did good. If he had a DIC it would have answered his question. Be cool.

pump the gas three times slowly within five seconds, start the ignition and THEN the light will blink meaning it is resetting.
