Unhappy AC Compressor Help!

Okay, heres the deal. I have a 1994 Graned Prix GTP with the 3.4L and I just recently replaced my alternator and this is when my ac stopped working. My belt is connected to my compressor and spins it just fine but when i turn my ac on in my car, no cold air. I watched the compressor's internal piece to see if it spun after i turned my ac on but it didnt. So it seems like it is something electrical. Could it be my relay or fuse? for all who dont know the alternator replacement procedure in this vehicle, it endures dropping the engine 4 inches to access the alternator.

Re: AC Compressor Help!

check to see if the wire to the compressor clutch was accidentally disconnected while changing the alternator. Also check the switch at the accumulator. If you jumper the pigtail of that switch, and the compressor kicks on, either the switch is bad or the system pressure is too low for the compressor to kick on.
