price aint bad.. id offer him $275.. keep in mind u will need to do the mpfi conversion.. the motor is ob1 and has a hydro transmission, do u wanna convert to ob1 or just use a 88-91 dizzy and do uh little wiring? the motor itself aint bad tho.. 102hp and with the z6 head u will squeeze about 118hp. my opinion tho id try and find a half decent a6 and do the mini me. good luck

i def agree but then theres shipping and all that bullshit. he will see better performance with d15 vtec too. plus its more reliable since the head n block are mated for one another vs mini me. but if he's looking for a quick fix.. he might find a good ole a6 local

yeah thats true with the 10hp shit. but if its done right and timing is set and vtec is at a good engagement it is alright. i raced several a6's z6 deli's and civi's and some y8's with the same mods as me and gave it to um. but then that might of just been driver skills plus after installing a clutch in my 88 si tranny.. i lay 2 tracks on any surface and any1 that drives down my alley will see that. plus the head and dc header was $100 for both fuck why not

An a6 is a d16a6 from a 88-91 Civic/CRX Si (or Civic EX). The 89 Integra was a twin cam that looked like a DOHC ZC but had about the same hp as an a6. The a6 has more support so it's a more logical choice... I'm pretty certain my a6 is pushing more than 108hp... LOL.
