1995 Grand am dash half dead

I like to say hello to everyone frist time here. i instilled a new radio i got all the new hook ups but i have to wires left. {1 is the dimmer wire that run to the new true gages lights} 2nd i taped off and i think it a light wire but not sure. Now i have 3 lights in the dash not working. i made sure they are good bulbs. Or could it have some thing to do what the water sending sensor i remove with the one green wire. if any one could help me out i could use your help. Please and all the thanks i can give dave
