Re: 1995 blazer engine mounts

There is two mounts.. I'm currently doing an engine swap on a 1995 4.3 vortec blazer and I cant see there being three, you could suggest the input shaft to the transmission is also a means of support... Why does he want to change his engine mounts.. seems kind of pointless unless one is broken.? And There isn't alot of wiggle room underneath the hood.

Re: 1995 blazer engine mounts

My 93 had 2 engine mounts, and 1 Tranny mount. With the proper tools, plan on 3-4 hours to do all 3. 4wd models are typically harder than 2wd. A floor jack and a 2x4 to lift the engine is mandatory.
