iac problems
i've recently experienced idle problems with my 94 ford escort wagon lx 1.9l. When left alone at idle in any gear it will eventually stall. I noticed in some other posts that a dirty iac can be the culpret so i cleand mine. now when it starts it will rev way up to about 3000rpm before beggining to fall back down. I noticed that there was a black dial on the side of the iac which may have been turned. im just wondering if this has anything to do with the rev problem. thanks

I think that black knob is actually a breather cap.
