o2 sensor check engine light

96 lumina 3.1, I changed the secondary o2 sensor, the one after the catalytic converter, had the code reset, but still get the inopertive trouble code, and check engine light, The fuse powers a lot of other things so thats ok. Cost about $75 for the Bosch sensor, I looked at the wiring, it appears to go straight to the computer, with no other connectors except for the one at the sensor

Re: o2 sensor check engine light

check to make sure all the wires arent melted or fused together, or arent shorted out to anything.
