I have done some reasearch about cam gears and have found that they add Hp also they are adjustable from -10 to +10 and so fourth.
My Question is and i cant find this anywhere so maybe you can help.
If you buy new cam gears like skunk 2 or aem will they improve the hp if the setting is on 0 for both or how does that work?

you dont get hp from the gears you get hp from being able to adjust them and tuning the engine

I wouldnt get them if you dont know how to tune them. You need to take it to a shop and let them do it.. Thats your best bet, but they are nice to have.

I have some Pro 1 cams from ecperformance, and those are really nice
I have crower at first, but i blew that engine and then joined Elite Concpets and then i bought all my stuff from them. I cant tell any diffirence at all, but you still need to know how to adjust them..

If you leave them both at zero, there is absolutely no point in having adjustable cam gears. The whole point of adjustable cam gears is to advance or retard the cam (or cams if DOHC). If the cam gear(s) are set to zero, there is no effect of having them. Also there is no point in having them if your using stock camshafts.
