Air Intake Question??
I have a 91 1500 pickup with a 305 in and i was wondering if i fliped the air filter lid upside down, exposing some of the air filter, would it harm my egine in any way?

I dont think it would matter even if the cover were left completely off, just as long as all the air coming into the engine goes thru the filter. The only difference will be the air going into the engine will be hotter due to heat from the engine.
