Need Paint Restoration Info

I am relitively a good painter and a friend of mine wants me to paint his aging/ruff 1978 corvette. It has minor fiberglass damage and serious spyder cracking. Where could I get some desent info on painting a corvette in this condition.

or depending on where you live, if you just need tips on painting aged fiberglass, find a shop that paints boats, they wond mind giving you the advice, cuz its not like youd be taking busniss from them, the dealership guys might resist telling you stuff cuz they would want the work.
