Question Gas -> alcohol conversion experiences?

Hi guys!

Fuel prices here in Sweden are high, and they will probably continue to rise. To reduce the fuel cost, I have considered converting the engine to E85. (15% gas, 85% etanol) Does anybody here have experiences from such a conversion? This would be done on a -91 to -96 (something?) PA.

On some cars, I believe, the engine management is constantly running in "closed loop" mode. (The fuel mixture remains at Lambda 1 regardless the engine load.) Is there any PA with that kind of set up? If so, I guess that model would be a great choice - the extra 30% fuel volume needed would be added automaticly. (At least when engine is warm!)
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked into doing it on my PA and this is what i have found. For the extra volume you need to get a the chip fuel curves reprogrammed and most of the fuel delivery system has to be repalced to withstand the alchohol. That sh*t will eat through the rubber in no time.
