Stupid WMP, or cd burner, or cd player??

I'm so lost. I've been using Windows Media Player to burn data CDs. The CD is fine in my computer, but whenever I go to play them on my CD player (which is MP3 compatible) only like, 1 out of every 10 songs actually plays. My CD player flashes this message that says "error, not mp3"

So I went and checked to make sure all the files were mp3, not wma, and they are.

I'm 99.9% positive that it's not my CD player, because I have a bunch of data CDs that play fine in it. And I'm also pretty positive it's not my CD burner, because it burns all other cd's okay.

Has anyone ever had this problem before? Should I try to burn a data CD with another program or something?

Blondes and computers don't mix...

no its not blondes, its the built in windows media player burner and any actual burning that don't mix. That is a pice of junk sofware.

Get Nero and use that to burn. Its easy to find, it comes as OEM sofware with most drives.
