Power Windows no stopping

I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport with power windows. The drivers side window on up and down operation will not stop and grinds when it gets to the top or bottom. It operates well, just won't stop. Any suggestions on what I need to replace?

sounds like the switch is going out try replacing the control panel or switch.

Thanks... I thought maybe there was a limit switch on the motor or track but never found anything. Never thought about the switch/control panel being the limiter! Thanks for the advice. I will try it. Lot easier to replace and work with the control panel than inside a tight door.
