Need Codes for 97

Any way to check codes on a 97 lumina 3.1 Police Package, Check engine light just came on, and A/C was working and now compressor cluch will not engage. HELP!

Take it to Autozone or similar, they can pull the codes for you. Another option is to buy a cheap ODB II scanner and pull them yourself.
