The rear a/c on my 2000 quit working. The vents blow hot air; however, the front a/c works just fine. Any ideas on what I can check to fix this problem? Temperatures soaring into the 90s, kids are definitely NOT happy!!

Re: Rear a/c not working
I'd check the damper that diverts the air between the heater core and the evaporator coil.

Where is this damper located ? I have the exact same issue !!
Where would you look for that ? I think there is only one ac compressor, so is this in the back ? Thanks ! Scy |

Re: Rear a/c not working
There is only one compressor. The compressor is in the engine compartment. The evaporator coil, heater core, and blower are all located on the passenger interior rear panel.
