60 Chevy Impala*Painted*

Wassup folks,

Nowadays I don't really got much time for models but I found this model and some spray paint at the same time so I figured I'd paint it for fun. I know its not primed blah blah blah I just opened the box and painted it. Maybe one day I'll finish but I doubt it

PS The paint is testors so it got all heavy in some spots because of the low pressure

Re: 60 Chevy Impala*Painted*

I donīt know if its reflections in the photo, but i t looks like the color has withdrawn from edges on the body?? Look at the rear fender. This usually happens to me when i apply to much paint in one go .

Re: 60 Chevy Impala*Painted*

Thats why i dontuse tesotrs metallic sprays, I airbrush it instead Happened to my friend impala too, sucks because the hood came out perfect, but the body ad runs and the color was even, and for some reason it warped the roof

I think it looks cool when the rasied edges are white and the rest has a deep color, it looks unique.
