UICP help?!?!?!?!?!

Ok..so my bran new UICP just came in the mail. I looked at it and pop'd my hood and notice it may get in the way of my battery. Well it basically will. Here is what I bought.... http://www.straightlinespecialties.c...roducts_id=119

Here's what everyone else's UICP seems to look like unless its a short route piping... http://www.dsmtuners.com/gallery/sho...cat=500&page=1

My car does not have ABS and the one with the ABS seems to have the bend that goes around the battery easily.

HELP PLEASE

Re: UICP help?!?!?!?!?!

The only way to check if its going to be in the way is fitting it on the motor. Take the old throttle body elbow off and put the new one on with the couplers and everything and see how it fits. Should be just fine. Only way to find out is to do it!

Thanks Jake, I was afraid you say that.(haha) I'm not the best with cars so I figured before I did it I just ask you guys and see what your thoughts were. Ill give it a try after I get back from vacation.

I was also wondering if anyone on here has the pipe at all? Or if anyone has a similar looking UICP?

If it makes you feel any better, we can all hope the vendor knows what they are building after years of making the same pipe.
