i want a real landy

Oh no.

The old landy is being turned into an urban tractor/fasion statement for mums. God save us. and a V8 in a landy is completely unnescessary. Americans dont seem to realise that the rest of the world pays through the nose for gas. over here in hobbitton its around one US dollar a liter for unleaded 91, and in UK where the landy is from its nearly a pound a liter i have heard. from what i have heard thats 6 times what you lot spend, about a dollar a gallon is it? thats about three and a half liters i think. anyway that sucks but if the world didnt suck we'd fall off it. the landy has always been a farm vehicle, with a torquey 2.25 s6 diesel. it seems small and it is and when you reach top speed of 55mph it sucks but in the paddock where it belongs it works its butt off and tows the tractor out of the mud when it gets stuck. please land rover, give us a real landy 110

Re: i want a real landy

Umm.. The straight 6 was a 2.6L gas engine. The deisel engine was a 2.0L then 2.25L 4cyl. And I have a real landy... Some of it's in my driveway..some in my shop...some in the carport... . It'll roll again soon though.

Re: i want a real landy

Got myself a defender 110. Very difficult to source a good one these days. I bought mine with a stripped out rear area for cargo stowage. It's great! I can sleep in it and live out of the thing if I want to

Here:

All the toys

With carpet down this is really comfy
