Engine swap.
Hey i was lookin to get some more horse power and was wondering if i could swap in a S2 engine for my base model 944. So if anyone knows of a website that sells them for cheap. Or would it be easier and cheaper to just get a rebuild and modding on the engine i have now, or get an engine swap? I only have bout 3-4k to work with so is it even possible to do it?

You can't do much to mod a n/a engine. A swap with an S2 engine will be pretty expensive. I think just the 3.0L block itself is like 2.5K or something. Not to mention you'll also need a new transmission, I can see the stock tranny failing pretty easily. Save some money, buy a 951.
