2001 Vw Gti Vr6 Ecu Reset

does anyone know how to reset the ecu on a 2001 volkswagen gti glx vr6 manual? i have a reset procedure for my g35, and i was wondering if there was one available for the gti. i know there are a few vw techs roaming the boards, so your help would be greatly appreciated.

Not trying to blow the AF site but, have you tried the Vortex? vwvortex.com is full of freaks on Watercooled ones. I love AF, but VW helps doesn't come to often.

I have a VAG-COM, go to ROSS TECH to get it. About 200 but well worth it you can reset any code with it. Program new key's so you can save $. www.ross-tech.com
