My 97 cavalier dome light doesn't shut off unless I pull the fuse out...Someone said it might be a bad relay but I have no clue where to find it. Can someone let me know where the relay is and what else the problem may be?

Re: Dome light won't shut off...ever
Its probably a bad door pin switch. It thinks one of the doors is open.

Is it possible that you turned on the dome light and just forgot to shut it off?

I checked the door trigger for the light but it seems to work fine. And I did try to turn the light off from the dash switch...That'd be pretty dumb if I did leave it on and not clue in though
![]() Even though the door trigger works i.e. moves in and out could it still be the problem? |

O.K so I removed both door pins and the dome light is still on. Should the dome light remain on after the door pins are removed?? If it's suppose to then I guess the problem is somewhere else. Any thoughts?
