'93 Villager question...

I have recently become the owner/driver of a '93 Villager.
It is in pretty good shape, and I like it well enough - except for just
2 things - I am used to a smaller, less thirsty vehicle....but that is
just a fact - my question is about the 2nd thing - the central locks
work, but the driver's door lock cylinder is jammed, maybe with a
broken key fragment inside, so, my question:

Would someone tell me where the relay lives that controls the
locks when the lock/unlock button is pressed ?
I have a nifty little remote unit I would like to wire in so I don't
have to take apart the driver's door OR always unlock the
passenger's door to get in each time.....

Thanks !

Not sure of your question but if there is a key broken in the lock take it out and replace the cylinder.

OK - I'll try again:
Where exactly is the central locking control relay located
in the '93 Villager ?

Thanks,

mark

Toanswer your question you do not need to find the relay to put that keyless entry module in your car. Your cylinder in the driver door is siezed that is why it isnt orking the only fix is to replace it. But if you would like to use your keyless entry you can install it right under the steering column. Go to your local Car Audio install place and for about 90 bucks if you live in canada they will put it in for you. Or you can ask them to print the iring Diagram for your vehicle. The easiest place to tap into the power locks is under the dash by the steering column. Just Remember if you do it yourself MAKE SURE you grund it very well!! there is a chasis ground behind the laft kick panel below the fuses.

Hope that helps.
