Corvette Servo

Whats is it, what does it do, and does it really help that much

in the 700R4, the first to second shift is controled by line pressure. this pressure is created by fluid pressing on a servo located on the side of the transmission. the part is the same between the camaro and the corvette however the corvette servo has a signifigantly smaller opening which creates higher line pressures. the higher pressure means faster firmer shifts. i put one in my transmission with a shift kit and transkit, and it made one helluva difference all put together. the 1st to 2nd shift will give you one helluva wakeup call.
