Re: Help Please asap

It could also be a head gasket that is craked. The same problem happend to me, but it wasent from a crash. Check that out.

Timing wouldnt make a diffirence it it runs fine when its cold and messes up when its hot. If it was the timing then you would be able to see it from the start up.

Check around the head for any thing that looks like oil. There is just no telling what could be wrong unless you look at all the possibilitys.
It could be many other things. Valves. rings and so on. Oil looses it density as it heats up, so that causes it to leak threw messed up valves or rings easy causing the engine to run like shit.

I would focus more on the possiblity of bad gaskets, seals, and rings.

i definately disagree. b4 i did my timing my car ran fine cold until it reached normal op temps and then it ran like shit and had no go. the timing was off by a tooth on the belt advanced- and the dizzy was pretty advanced itself. after that was all fixed ran same at all temps.

thats cool u got the motor running good now. im sure u got a hell of a deal for that teg, and a unmolested low mileage B can be hard to find sumtimes.
