Is there hope for my a/c?

Is there hope for my a/c? I tried to add freon, but even though the compressor clutch was engaged no freon would charge.

Is there anything else I can do? Or do I need to see a mechanic.

What are your pressures? High and low side? What are you symptoms? Best not to mess around with it if you don't have a full gauge set. You need to know what your pressures are doing, especially the high side. Let me know and I can help you through it.

A good A/C website forum is ackits.com they are very knowledgeable. There are GM techs that do Aurora's all the time.

I don't currently own a set of pressure guages. I've never seemed to need them to recharge before so I saved the expense. Looks like time to invest in a new tool. I'll try to check it out and get back to ya'. Thanks for the input.
