mass air flow resistor

I know radio shack has the resistor I need to unplug my mass air flow sensor and put it in that connector but I was woundering what the number is of it or any information on It. I don't want my check engine lite on. Thanks

It is just a little resistor you stick the ends in the plug and just tape it up.

ya they sell this mod on ebay for like $10 and they swear you gain 5 -10 hp from it . they say it makes the truck think the air temp is lower so if changes the fuel input.

i have heard alot of problems from this too. i have never done this to a vehicle and dont think i ever will.
