Tune up?
I have a 92 SC2 DOHC. my car is in dire need of a tune up. i was wondering if anyone could tell me if it would make too big a difference to do that lil at a time or all at once. id rather do everything all at the same time. but unfortunatly i dont have that kinda time or money. so if i do lil at a time is it gonna hurt anything? thanx

start with the plugs.. there about $2 each then move to the spark plug wires.. they're about $30.
You could stop there if your o2 sensors are working fine. |

no there isn't a distributor cap or rotar.. there is a coil that is switched electronically by the crank sensor.
You probably should clean the throttle body and change the pvc valve (get the one from saturn along with the cleaner) and air filter. Then you are probably done. |

Re: Tune up?
cheapo tune up-
replace spark plugs $5-10 replace PCV valve(AC Delco only)$5 clean throttle body check and replace if needed: wires air filter fuel filter belt hoses coolant it isn't a great way of doing things, but it works if you are in a jam.
